18 months since cancer claimed Oma's life. I can't believe it has been that long already. I never thought it was possible to miss someone this much, but it is. It has been a long and painful 2 years, since Oma was diagnosed with bowel cancer, but we have all come through this stronger and wiser than before.
On Saturday and Sunday 14th and 15th March, I participated in the Relay for Life in memory of Oma. The candlelight ceremony was a very touching ceremony. We had a guest singer (he was part of the hospital team) and when he sang during the ceremony I was moved to tears. That Sunday was Oma's birthday.
